THE WARDEN'S NOTES
Gelli Aur Country Park is 60 acres of wooded parkland with outstanding views
across the scenic Towy Valley. Once the home of the Vaughn and Cawdor families,
the privately owned mansion is located next to the present day Country Park.
This is a wonderful secret part of Wales, so enjoy it and I wish you all
a pleasant visit.

ATTRACTIONS OF THE PARK
Nature Trails
Choose any of the four different nature trails and explore woodland, meadow,
ponds and deer park.
Deer Park
Can you spot the fallow deer from the trail or viewing platform?
Arboretum
Discover an outstanding collection of mature trees and shrubs. There are
many large and unusual specimens.
Picnic Area
Enjoy a picnic in the shade of the Park.
Children's Play Area
Have fun in the adventure playground.
Guided Walks, Activities and Events
Throughout the year, children's Wild Group, Guided Walks, Craft demonstrations
and Events.

Park offer beautiful surroundings and a wide selection of the 'finest
lines' in
herbal and traditional teas, plus freshly ground coffees for you to choose
from.
SPECIAL FACILITIES
FOR
SPECIAL NEEDS & DISABLED
The tea rooms are easily accessible for the disabled and elderly. A wheelchair
ramp provides easy access into the premises and the Park provides a toilet
for use by the disabled.
BABIES & TODDLERS
For adult customer use only, a baby food preparation centre is provided for
your convenience, complete with microwave, bowls, spoons etc.
High Chairs and Baby changing facilities are provided.
The Park itself
boasts a well-equipped, enclosed Play Ground where your children can
safely play whilst you watch on, enjoying a takeaway. Warm up with our
delicious hot choclate topped with cream and marshmallows or cool down
with an ice-cold milk shake. Whatever takes your fancy.
